Welcome to Greely Middle School!

Greetings!  It is my pleasure to welcome you to the homepage for the Greely Middle School.
Greely Middle School was opened in September 2004 for students in grades six, seven, and eight in MSAD 51. We believe that we are a state of the art educational facility. We exist to encourage and support students in the pursuit of personal bests by addressing the unique academic, physical and social needs of this age group. I hope you enjoy reading about us and sharing a bit in the life of our school community.
For more information, read our Mission Statement.

Important Notes for Parents during the school year:

Morning Drop-off:  Parents are reminded that students are not allowed into the building prior to 7:15 a.m. when supervised duty begins. On cold mornings, please encourage your children to dress appropriately if they will be waiting outside.

After school:  We want to keep all of our students safe.  Families are reminded that students should be staying after school ONLY if they are: (1) working with a teacher, (2) involved in a sports, music, or club-related practice or event directly at the end of school, or (3) working in the library on homework.  Students waiting until 4 p.m. for the late bus (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) or for parents are required to be in the library.  Students who do not want to wait in the library must be picked up once they have finished working with a teacher.  Most often that would be at 2:45 p.m.
