Physical Education and Health 6th, 7th & 8th
6th Grade Physical Education
Students will be working on Paddle ball, Tennis, Fitness training and testing and field day events.
Fitness testing for all 6th, 7th & 8th grade students will take place during the month of May.

We continue to work on fitness in class each week for 6th, 7th and 8th grades.
7th Grade PE
Students will be working on circuit training every Wednesday to help improve fitness.
Students will be working on Paddle ball, Frisbee golf, Softball, Lacrosse and Fitness training and testing.
8th Grade PE
Students will be working on Speedball, Ping Pong, Softball, Team Handball and Fitness training and testing.
6th Grade Health Class
We will be focusing on three units this trimester: Stages of Human Development, Character Education and Substance Abuse.
We are starting the week of May 6 on a unit on Character Education. We will be strategizing on how to solve different dilemmas that Middle School students face on a regular basis.
We will be starting our final unit on Substance Abuse starting June5. The major assessment is a poster on one of the following topics: tobacco, alcohol, inhalants or marijuana. See the link for the rubric for the poster.
