1)  In the box below, create a value scale using pencil.  Fill in the entire box showing a gradual progression of values from extremely light to extremely dark.   15 pts














2)  Using linear, one or two point perspective, draw five boxes in the space below.  Draw some above the horizon line, some on the horizon, and some below it.  Be sure to label the horizon line and vanishing point(s).     15 pts

them a 3-dimensional appearance using a wide range of values.  Base your shading on
the direction of the light source.  15 pt

7)  Cut out three photographs from magazines that somewhere show the use of one or two   point linear perspective in them.  To get credit you must draw lines with a straight edge to show where perspective is being used.  You don’t need to draw the horizon because it may fall outside the photo area.  Be sure to staple or paper clip your photos to your quiz, loose photos get lost.  15 pt
