I hope you are having a great summer so far! Doesn't it feel nice, to have the weight of school lifted off your shoulders? No academic due dates, no hearing, "Get to bed; it's a school night." No hearing, "Wakey, wakey; it is time to wake up for Humanities class."
Are you reading? You should be! Take a walk to the library, look in your closet where you put those books you got for Christmas, catch a ride to Books Etc. in Falmouth. I also hope you are watching the news. You can see the BBC News on Channel 10 or 11, and the Lehrer News Hour is good stuff, too. Keep an eye on Israel and the Gaza Strip. They are talking about a cease fire and a new peace agreement; let's see if they can make it work this time. Also, the Olympics in Bejing in August is going to dominate the news from now until September.
