Poetry
By Dylan Sargent
Sparkling dew-covered blades of grass
Tempted me to the humpback whale
of a rock.
The soothing wind,
Soft outstretched arms
Cooled my body as I hiked along.
It looked like the
prehistoric ages.
Peaceful,
Rest,
No worries.
The modern world was gone
In the blink
Of an eye.
No road for miles.
