With  your many ideas
Simply walk outside
Into the sunshine
Go to a friend’s house
and waste the day away

Don't write down your inklings
Don't search for paper
Just walk into the next room
Sit down on the couch
And waste the day away

Make your stand
Just don't do it

Just go back to sleep
When you wake up at midnight

Drenched in sweat
Looking at the laptop
Just go back to sleep

Sleep may be slow in coming
As you work out an excuse in your head
You know it will never do
But you have to try
